Bring it On!

Abuse is not something to laugh about. After all being hit or kicked to death isn’t funny at all.
I thought that I needed to do something about it so I wrote a poem.
It’s called why.

WHY???

7 year old Sarah is poked at and teased,
all she wants is her daddy to stop hitting her please.

8 year old Nina begins to cry,
while daddy hits mommy and she wonders why?

10 year old Taylor runs to hide,
since daddy is storming in from outside.

He looks very mad, as he had a bad day,
everyone found out his secret today.

Now everyone knows that he hits and abuses,
everyday I am seen with either black eyes or bruises.

All these children want to hide or runaway,
scared for their lives, it is just easier this way.

They just want it to stop,
after all they are just children abused or not.

I hope that you realize what happens to so many people around the world. Please don’t be an abuser. That’s bad.

Today is nerd day at our school  and boy do we look funny! They did this on account of it being he science fair! I did m7 projeect on which keeps things warmer in a c0ld place.

Hey Everyone,

Just an update on everything in Snow Lake. It has been freezing cold up here with a temperature of -50 degrees celcius. There have been lots of snow which means a lot of skidooing! Everything is good here with more people moving here.

Frontier Games is on Thursday and I am really excited. I am in mixed doubles badminton. It will be a long and hard day which will lead to much preparing. The people in badminton are gonna be really tough but I think we can beat them. Wish me luck!

Biodiversity is the variety of life: the different plants, animals and micro-organisms in which they are a part. I am concerned about the health of the plants and animals. Logging is destroying the homes of animals and killing the trees. It is deestroying the envrioment and hurting animals! I don’t think it is fair to have the world we live in look like a pile of trash!!!

The Outsiders

Hey Everyone,

It’s another Outsiders blog post and it’s going to be long. I am writing about the book, the movie and a project we did in school with people from Los Angeles. It’s not going to be a summary like the other blog posts but it will talk about my opinions for the story.

The Movie vs The Novel
I thought the novel was more high-tech than the movie. When I talk about high-tech I mean that it had more information and that. The Movie was missing some of the main events that the novel had. The movie needed these parts to make it more interesting. I suggest you read the novel before you watch the movie. I thought the novel was really good just like the movie. It is something I would read and watch again.

The Final Project
When Ambar and I finished our final project I was glad it was over. It was very hard to keep in contact from hundreds of kilometres away. We chose to do a Google presentation on Importance of Family. We had our ups and downs because of no contact and because of not seeing one another’s slides.

These two chapters were well written. In the beginning Pony goes to school and has to do an assignment on something important to himself. He calls his teacher to ask him what he had to do his project on. He found out that it had to be 5 pages long. He asked if it could be longer than 5 pages. He started with the words ” When I stepped out into the bright sunlight from the darkness of the movie house, I had only 2 things on my mind: Paul Newman and a ride home…” These were the first words in the beginning of the story.

The word I chose was Fear because there was fear in the chapters because of the deaths in chapters 9 and 10. It wasn’t shown but I believe that they were still shaken up by Johnny and Dally’s death. I feared that maybe Pony may have died in these chapters because he was still sick. I was surprised he did not.

I really liked the ending because Miss Hinton wrote it well. I liked how she made Pony write this assignment of all that happened. I really wished there was a chapter 13.

If Johnny died what would I do.. Johnny is like my best friend and our friendship only got closer in that old lonely church. I wouldn’t be able to move on… Dally will survive. His injuries aren’t as bad as Johnny’s. Johnny’s suffering with a broken back. He won’t be able to walk again. I want him to enjoy his life like I am. I won’t let him die. I won’t.

Friendship is the word for these two chapters because Johnny and Pony have a very close relationship. Pony talks to Johnny because when Johnny talks he wastes his energy. I really hope that Johnny survives this because he is one of my favorite characters. These two chapters are my favorite chapters because of the depth o

I really hope that Johnny survives this because he is one of my favorite characters. These two chapters are my favorite chapters because of the depth os the writers words in the 2 chapters. This is something I would consider reading if I was like 33 because then you could have actually met the author. That would be really cool.

In this chapter nothing special really happened as there was a fire at the church Pony and Johnny were staying in. There was some kids in the church at the time so Pony went in to save them. He saved them but then Dally whacked him in the back of the head with a bottle. There was flames burning Pony’s back and Pony didn’t know it.

Survival was the word to describe this chapter because of all of the event that made the chapter full of action. These were the best chapters I have read so far. Survival was needed to keep Pony, Johnny and those little boys in the church fire. This is one of the many things that were exciting and what makes the book more enjoyable.
