SimCity 4 is a computer game where you make a city. You have to try to make a successful town at first.Then, you add businesses and store, schools and houses-but you have to do this while your making wise choices about how you spend your money!You are the mayor of your town.You decide what you want in your town. As more people come to live in your town, you will have to build more housing, more businesses and more things. When you run out of money robots come and attack your city. If you don’t pay your police, fire deparment or the doctors and nurses; they will go on strike.

My Beliefs

I think there is many problems with the world. I belive that children should not be used as slaves and slavery is wrong. Another thing similar to this is violence. There is never a reason to be bullied abused or even laid a hand onto for that matter. Many people may agree with me, others may not but everyone has their own opinon.

The Laws

I think some of these laws need a little bit more work and support. Nothing is getting done about the fact that children are being used as slaves. In some countries people are allowed to do that which isn’t fair to all the little childern being abused and hurt. This can be banned with help from families around the world. Your opinon counts.

Blogging: what thousands of people do. YAY!:)

Blogging is kinda old but new to some people. People use blogging because they type faster than they write. When you write on paper it takes a long time to get to other people but by blogging it takes only seconds.

Writing: what people do at school. BORING!:(

Writing is what people used to do at work and school. Now they only do it at school. It is really slow and it is messy. Blogging is neat because you don’t write it but it is still your ideas.

Is there really a difference?

Yep. It makes a big difference in the amount of time. The time you spend writing with a pen or pencil takes about 20 minutes at least. When you type it’s way faster and takes about 2 minutes.

My new blog post is about my new school project.

We are using a program called Skype to talk with a class from a Catholic Private school in Los Angeles. The school is called Saint Elisabeth School.

SKYPE!
Skype is a free downloading website that includes instant messaging, webcam, video, music and more! Skype and other sites like it are changing the world as we know it.

We are using Skype to talk to a class from Los Angeles. We just used Skype to talk to the Grade 8 class. Today we introduced ourselves and we were introduced to some of the teachers and we also met the principal.

Hi!

I’m Brianna. I am in Grade 7/8. Our school is quite big for the amount of students in our school. It has split classes from Grade 1 to Grade 8. I have a sister, a stepbrother and a stepsister. I also have two step parents. Although my step brother and my step sister don’t live with me, or in the same town as me, I still have lots of fun!

Snow Lake: My Home

I live in a small town in Northern Canada called Snow Lake. It is very peaceful and there is really nice to see. We have a town of about 750 people which isn’t much. Although there is not many people in my small town, you can still have lots of fun. We had a mine running previously but then it closed down. We have a beautiful golf course. Off the deck of the Snow Lake Golf Club you see a beautiful scene. The New Britannia Mine!
