Frontier Games is on Thursday and I am really excited. I am in mixed doubles badminton. It will be a long and hard day which will lead to much preparing. The people in badminton are gonna be really tough but I think we can beat them. Wish me luck!

Biodiversity is the variety of life: the different plants, animals and micro-organisms in which they are a part. I am concerned about the health of the plants and animals. Logging is destroying the homes of animals and killing the trees. It is deestroying the envrioment and hurting animals! I don’t think it is fair to have the world we live in look like a pile of trash!!!

If there is one thing I like to do most, it is hunting. My grandpa was a hunter. My Dad and step-mom are hunters today. They taught me all that I know. My Dad has a lot of deer horns in the garage. When I was only a year old my grandpa bought me my first camoflage suit. My mom put it on me and I sat on a dead bear that my grandpa shot. When I was about 3 or 4 my grandpa shot a cougar (or puma) for me. It was a female. My grandpa’s brother also shot a cougar but it was a male. This summer I got a pellet/BB gun for my birthday. I got my Hunter’s Safety too. I got 100% on my exam. My grandpa would have been very proud.
This December I am going chicken hunting with my dad. I am going to shot about 2 or 3 so I can stuff one. I am going to dedicate it to my grandpa. He would be very happy. It will be the first time I am actually hunting something.

Hi!

I’m Brianna. I am in Grade 7/8. Our school is quite big for the amount of students in our school. It has split classes from Grade 1 to Grade 8. I have a sister, a stepbrother and a stepsister. I also have two step parents. Although my step brother and my step sister don’t live with me, or in the same town as me, I still have lots of fun!

Snow Lake: My Home

I live in a small town in Northern Canada called Snow Lake. It is very peaceful and there is really nice to see. We have a town of about 750 people which isn’t much. Although there is not many people in my small town, you can still have lots of fun. We had a mine running previously but then it closed down. We have a beautiful golf course. Off the deck of the Snow Lake Golf Club you see a beautiful scene. The New Britannia Mine!
